1. Who we are

My Black Solution (“we”, “us”, “our”, “the Platform”) operates myblacksolution.com and events.myblacksolution.com, a UK-focused marketplace connecting the Black community with events, businesses, professionals and organisations. 2. Accepting these terms

By creating an account, browsing listings, purchasing a ticket, or registering as a vendor or organiser on the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

3. Who can use the Platform

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, list an event, or purchase a ticket. By using the Platform you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  •  You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  •  We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent activity.

5. Organisers and vendors

Organisers and vendors (“Sellers”) may list events, tickets, products or services through the Platform’s marketplace functionality. By listing on the Platform, Sellers agree that:

  • All listing information (pricing, dates, descriptions, images) must be accurate and kept up to date.
  • Sellers are solely responsible for delivering the event, product or service as described.
  • Sellers must comply with all applicable UK laws, including consumer protection, health and safety, and licensing requirements for their event or business.
  • My Black Solution acts as a marketplace facilitator and is not the organiser of third-party events unless explicitly stated.
  • Vendor fees, commission rates and payout schedules are set out separately in the Vendor Agreement / Pricing page.

6. Ticket purchases

  • All ticket sales are processed securely through our payment provider(s).
  • Prices are displayed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated for international events.
  • A confirmation email and ticket will be issued upon successful payment.
  • Refunds and cancellations are governed by our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, defamatory, hateful, or discriminatory content.
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, including fraud or money laundering.
  • Attempt to circumvent Platform fees by transacting with a counterparty outside the Platform after being introduced through it.
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the operation of the Platform.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform, its design, brand, logos and underlying software are owned by My Black Solution and protected by intellectual property law. Sellers retain ownership of the content they upload but grant My Black Solution a licence to display it on the Platform and in reasonable marketing.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Black Solution is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform, or for the acts or omissions of independent Sellers and event organisers. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, where such limitation is not permitted by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
